AOTW: 4:44

Jay-Z’s most recent album, 4:44 was produced in less than a one-year period without preceding singles to tease the album's contents. The title and the track 4:44 have a deeper meaning to its name due to Hov’s obsession with the number 4, and also signifying love.
His song “4:44” was written as an apology to his wife, Beyoncé, addressing the situations that brought obstacles in their marriage. taking a different approach and writing about things he has never talked about before, Jay Z poured his whole heart out on a 4:44 minute-long track, arguably one of the best pieces on the album.
tracks like “the story of OJ” painting one of the cruelest pictures of life as a black man in America: no matter what type of black person you are, that is what you will always be seen as: “still black ”.
